Senate Democrats mourn four dead after medical transport plane crashes in northern Arizona

PHOENIX – A medical transport plane crashed near a northern Arizona airport early Tuesday afternoon, claiming the lives of four people. According to Arizona Family, the FAA reported that a Beechcraft 300 crashed around 12:35 p.m. near the Chinle Municipal Airport. The Arizona State Senate Democratic Caucus released the following statement:
“Our caucus is heartbroken to learn of the tragic plane crash near the Chinle Airport. As was reported, the crash claimed the lives of four medical personnel from a medical flight service based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. These individuals dedicated their lives to making our communities safer and saving others in their greatest hours of need. This loss is immeasurable, and our love goes out to their families and loved ones.
The four were enroute to pick up a patient when the plane crashed around 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5. While the investigation is ongoing, our thoughts are with all those affected by this tragedy.”
